At dawn on June 6, 1944, nearly 7,000 vessels carrying 160,000 Allied troops closed in on the beaches of Normandy.

Through courage and sacrifice, they secured a foothold in Nazi-occupied France and began the liberation of Western Europe.

Today, we honor the heroes of D-Day.

🚨 Stolen Vehicle Pursuit – Officer Injuries & Arrest 🚨

On May 3, 2026, officers from the Greece Police Department located a stolen vehicle on West Ridge Road that fled, leading to a pursuit into Rochester.

The pursuit ended after a crash at Mt. Read Blvd and Lexington Ave, where two officers were injured. Both were transported to Rochester General Hospital. One officer has been released, and the second remains hospitalized in stable condition.

The suspect, Sean Tracy Sr., 56, was taken into custody and faces multiple felony and traffic-related charges.
