@nerineskinner Happy birthday Nerine. Hope all is going well.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@BBCNews Disappointing to see the BM director blaming visitors wanting to spend longer viewing the embroidery for part of the reason for the hiatus. Blaming your visitors for anything isn’t a great approach - assuming he did actually say that of course!

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@thedebbiemcgee @Grease_UK Nicely done.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@nec_ee Hiroshima.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@thedebbiemcgee I think perhaps you're not! And that conclusion is based on meeting you in a hotel foyer in Wolverhampton a few years ago. Of course, I could be wrong!

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@nerineskinner Nicely done. That’s my decision.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@CountBinface Phew - relief that Adele hasn't been bumped off the list.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

The team responsible for bringing ‘The Market Deeping Model Railway Club’ to @NottmPlayhouse deserve all the plaudits that have been coming down the track their way. Funny and emotional, the story is delivered exceptionally well by the ensemble cast. Nicely done.

[Jon Holmes @jonholmes1]

You may have seen that Keir Starmer apologised for the forced adoption scandal of the 50s/60s/70s this week. I made an (award winning!) documentary about my own forced adoption and now, with perfect timing, it’s back on Radio 4.
Have a listen.

@HollyOMahony @edfringe @theipaper As corkers go, do have a look @nerineskinner Just don't mention Liz Truss!

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@PhilTonks2 @WeAreBCR Blimey! Nice AI prompts though.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@bysianharrison On another May I interest you in Strand, the throughfare in central London. Regularly but incorrectly written with the definite article. I feel we can blame Stanley Holloway's music hall song lyrics for that. Not legal-related but interesting all the same - possibly.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@theiaincameron Nice grammatical explanation. In London, the famous thoroughfare, Strand, regularly attracts the definite article, which is, of course incorrect. Let's blame Stanley Holloway's music hall song for the inconsistency!

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@Hoang_HQ This also happens at the JAL check-in desks at London Heathrow, usually just before check-in opens. It's a show of respect, something that you find on Japanese trains, in shops and elsewhere. Oh that that culture was echoed elsewhere.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@nerineskinner Nicely done Nerine.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

@nerineskinner Laughter from start to finish. Another tour de force from a naturally funny lady.

[Stuart Render @StuartRender]

A smile at a weekend.

[Jono Read @jonoread]

Brilliant from @chiwithaC. She has Jenny and Lee nailed on.

[Caroline Mills @CarolineMills99]

There seem to be lots of book stacks & layouts of book choices on tables as recommended reads for 2026 or this month or any other reason. So I thought I'd add to the recommended book stack with 'This Is Not My Land: 30 Years on a Small Cotswolds Farm', published last week. #books

[Caroline Mills @CarolineMills99]

Thank you @Countrylifemag for the lovely review of 'This Is Not My Land: 30 Years on a Small Cotswolds Farm', which launched last week, describing it as a 'gentle book'. Just right for reading by the fire on a winter's evening. #Oxfordshire #Cotswolds #naturewriting #slowtravel
