I just realized I've never mentioned our team size! We're 3 people + a freelance musician. We make all the art and animations ourselves while working day jobs. That's why False Hope has taken so long. Getting to Steam Next Fest was a big deal for us.

Resident Evil. Silent Hill. MacGyver? False Hope takes inspiration from all three. A locked door is a real problem. Figuring out how to open it is only half the puzzle . You still have to pull it off. #SteamNextFest #SurvivalHorror

With over 8,000 games in Steam Next Fest, I tried finding ours. After an hour of scrolling, I switched to the horror category and eventually found it near the bottom.

I finally updated the steam page with new language options and released the demo update. You wouldn't believe the issues, from download button disappearing to languages not updating. But it's fianlly done. Over 9h later. Now I can get some rest before the next suprise. #gamedev

I’ve been playing around with False Hope’s video settings, and I really like the low-res 4:3 look with a lower render scale. It gives the game a nice retro feel. This might be my favorite way to play it.
