If you loved the previous Ready or Not like I did I think you’ll have a blast with a sequel that pretty much delivers what you’d expect albeit on a much grander scale. A stacked cast, more gore, more comedy, an expanded lore and world building, and more killing.
@CyrilH44 I’m right wing and also thought it was lidacris that it’d flop. I have my problems with some of the casting but I don’t live in a different reality. A Nolan film with this much anticipation around it was NEVER going to flop.
@worthitorwoke Like I said I appreciate they’re focusing on Cara and making her an actual character with flaws. I think that’s refreshing compared to most female led projects. I’m cautiously optimistic.
@TheWalterMagic My take is critics and the cast and crew will make a bigger deal about “toxic masculinity” more than the actual film. The film is designed to just have fun with character’s from the cartoon people grew up with.
@TheWalterMagic It seems it has the right heart and goofy fun from the cartoon. It’s a success in my book. However, the audience just like the most recent Dungeons and Dragons film is just not there.
