Very excited about our latest @biorxivpreprint. This is the outcome of a joint project between myself and @Sua_Ryu. What started as a side project a few years ago has morphed into one of the most interesting projects I've ever worked on. 1/13 https://t.co/s4JeRWAtnb
No one will remember the question you couldn't answer in a talk or when you gave a bad presentation. Yes, it stings in that moment, but the audience has a short memory and other things to worry about.
Take a break (cake recommended), learn from the experience, and move on ❤️
New preprint. This one isn't gong to end up in a CNS journal but I still think it is important. We show that neither 8-chloroadenosine or 8-azaadenosine are selective inhibitors of ADAR. 1/n https://t.co/xNqtUmatDO
Really enjoying #VKSRNAediting21! If you are attending and want to know more about ADAR-dependency in cancer, check out my poster. It highlights several ongoing projects in @WeberLabWUSTL by myself, @BetelNut_Wustl and @sua_r2507.
I've been mulling over the @MRC_Outbreak modeling report on #COVID19 mitigation and suppression strategies since it was posted on March 16. Although mitigation through social distancing may not solve things I believe we can bring this epidemic under control. 1/19
