"O my dear Krishna, You are the friend of the distressed, the ocean of the mercy and the lord of creation. You are the master of the cowherdsmen and the lover of the gopis, especially Radharani. I offer my respectful obeisance unto You."

#WATCH | Delhi: Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "Kailash Mansarovar Yatra happens through very different border points. Many travel through Nepal. Our concerns are with the renewal of the agreement between India and China through the Kalapani and Lipulekh area, where we have said for a very long time that the land belongs to us, and without Nepal's consent, the two countries by themselves cannot make those agreements. And we've made that very clearly known through our communication, including diplomatic notes to both countries."
#WATCH | Delhi: On Agniveer scheme, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "The recruitment used to be done through a tripartite agreement. In the most recent conversations, we have not gone into those discussions. When the government of India feels it's necessary, like any other issue, we're happy to sit at the table and take up this issue as well."
#WATCH | Delhi: On US tariffs, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "We are in constant dialogue with the Americans. They have expressed some concerns. However, you would have noticed that there have been three or four high-level visits since our government came to power. Therefore, we are actively engaging in discussions; this is part of that ongoing discussion."
On trilateral resolution, he said, "We have expressed our position through an official diplomatic note to both India and China. We've clearly said to both countries that the land belongs to us. That's been our historical claim...Many of these border disputes are part of a long historical legacy, especially the Nepal-India border. We want to solve our disputes through diplomatic processes. We just want to see if we can access some of the documents that might be in libraries or museums in the UK. Our position was not that we were asking for mediation..."
On the EPG report, he says, "The EPG was commissioned by the agreement of two prime ministers, and the report can only be submitted to two prime ministers. So I have no authority to make that public, accept or do anything."
#WATCH | Delhi: On India-Nepal relations, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "Historically, our relations have been excellent. The relationship is very dynamic. So we have actually put all the issues forward. We've discussed that, and the spirit of collaboration is very, very high, which is what I've found in Delhi. I'm going back with a very optimistic and also with a lot of hope that these discussions that we've started yesterday will immediately result in an outcome over the next few months."
#WATCH | Delhi: On the key takeaways from his visit, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "I came with two broad objectives. One is to start the highest-level political visits between the two countries. The last visit was almost two years back, and a lot had changed in Nepal over the last year, especially the last few months. So one was to start that highest level engagement. The second was to communicate the new government's priority. I found our engagement with the NSA, the external affairs minister and his team yesterday very productive and engaging. And we've discussed a variety of issues from connectivity, bilateral relationship, to energy and multilateral engagements. So on all fronts, we've discussed very openly through open heart, and we've also discussed about solving the outstanding issues that remain between the two countries through the existing mechanisms that we have, and there are many, many mechanisms, so the first priority is to actually activate those mechanisms."
#WATCH | Delhi: Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says, "We want to build our relationship on issues of mutual interest...I do understand and acknowledge that there are issues between us. There are issues, outstanding issues, including in border and boundaries, that can and need to be solved through diplomatic dialogues. There are many mechanisms that exist between Nepal and India. The field survey team is currently working. The field service team, that's a technical team between Nepal and India, that's actually on the border working together. So we hope, and we agreed yesterday with my discussion with the external affairs minister, that we have agreed to activate all these mechanisms so that we are solving these problems that we have through openness and dialogue..."
