@VictimOfPaws @KPSingh0809 High end manufacturing can bring in money which then gets moved around by services.
Government has been unsuccessfully trying to do but limited due their disinterest in funding research, mineral processing and energy. We can't move people to labour intensive low end production.

[Aurbindo @Subhran35137326]

@VictimOfPaws @KPSingh0809 That's right but judging state of manufacturing by using looking on at the percentage of manufactiing in total gdp is simply wrong.

Kerala HC stops Adani from Construction at Vizhinjam over Environmental Clearances,

✌️Just a PIL from a Agrarian Fisher was enough to stop construction regarding the most important port in South Asia

[Aurbindo @Subhran35137326]

@VictimOfPaws @KPSingh0809 Share of manufacturing in Chinese gdp has reduced due to automation doesn't mean manufacturing in china is going down.
Same thing is happening here, more manufacturing were are getting is capital intensive automated with very few jobs and less contribution in gdp percentage.

All I'm seeing from these people is a peer-reviewed WhatsApp forward on this topic lol. Every one of them is acting the same - empty insults, claims of superiority, appeals to authority. The only thing larger than their arrogance is their irrelevance in modern Indian politics 😂

[Kanthaswamy Balasubramaniam @Kanthaswam80359]

For ₹ 2,400/- a tonne you can eliminate 90% of a city's garbage including 15% profit for your vendor (₹360 per ton)

BUT IN 🇮🇳:-

I. Indian Vendors have to submit tender prices ranging from ₹2,000/- a tonne which means elimination rate reduces to 75%

II. Of this the Hidden costs, Bribes & corruption averages 35% or ₹700/- per tonne. This means ₹ 1,300/- which means elimination rate reduces to a mere 49%

III. The Vendor takes a cut of 30% as his profit - so that's only ₹910/- available which means elimination rate drops to 34%

So only 34% of your garbage is eliminated (By incinerator)

66% is piled on, dumped in rivers, on even on the roads itself

Avg Garbage Waste in an Indian City = 4,500 Tonnes/day

This means 3,000 Tonnes Garbage will pile up inside every Indian city every day

If you end corruption, change the L1 system , for a mere 0.28% to 0.67% higher municipal taxes , you can reduce almost 2,550 tonnes of garbage ending on your streets and rivers every single day

These people unironically think MNREGA was a revolutionary idea.

I thought that was a joke or something

Everytime Sonpimple opens his mouth he radicalises a thousand UC individuals with no-return no-peace mentality in hearts of those thousand UCs.
This is very good for UC political objectives in the long run. If the chord has to go it must go. You have great reach. Greater than any other UC political commentator. Your prirmary job should be to share his clips to turn that 1000 into 10000 and then 100000 and so on and then ask your viewers to share it in WhatsApp groups and Facebook. Take it for readymade content for collective UC awakening and political mobilisation.
It is literally goldmine. Capitalise on it.

Drèze admirers larp a lot about MGNREGA. That tells you everything. If a two decade intellectual legacy rests on a scheme that paid people to dig gaddha one season and refill them the next, the legacy is weaker than its fans imagine.

MGNREGA was never a development programme. It was a consumption subsidy stupidly dressed as work. It created payrolls and negligible productivity. Its assets were notoriously flimsy, its leakages chronic and its own statutory promise of 100 days was never realised. Worse, it taught an entire rural generation that the state's highest aspiration for them was manual labour at subsistence wages.

Contrast China. Beijing moved its rural surplus labour into township enterprises, factories, ports and export corridors. They built capability that compounded without some jholachaap economist. We spent two decades paying for activity instead of building capacity, and called it a rights revolution.

Thankfully, parliament has now repealed the Act. Our poor never needed a perpetual shovel. We need to provide them more factory gates.

[Viraj in absentia @virajraundal8]

Dreze saw Indians in poverty and chose to pay them to dig holes in villages instead of building factories where they could make clothes or umbrellas or toys.

Sanyal chose to become the biggest supporter of India's ship building industry that will employ lakhs if not millions.

[Abhishek @AbhishBanerj]

Indian liberals are so emotionally charged they cannot believe anything good about India

For 70 years, they never asked why India is poorer than sub Saharan Africa

But today they ask why Japanese are not lining up for Indian visas

[Shaurya Ritwik | शौर्य ऋत्विक @shauryaritwik]

No nation has ever redistributed its way to prosperity. East Asia did not escape poverty through ration cards. They escaped through factories, exports, savings and relentless capital formation. Our own decisive reduction in poverty followed liberalisation & enterprise, not activist rhetoric. Welfare can cushion a fall but it can never build a ladder. Only wealth creators can lift a civilisation out of its slumber because only they generate the jobs, tax revenues and productivity on which every social programme ultimately depends. India needs entrepreneurs, engineers and manufacturers, not more jholachaap economists.

🔹 Save FX Reserves ➔ INR crashes past ₹100/$1 ➔ Imported inflation destroys working families.
🔹 Save the Rupee ➔ Burn $70 Billion+ of hard-earned FX capital ➔ Run out of ammunition when the real shock hits!
Why are we in this trap? Because instead of building high-value indigenous tech industries, export powerhouses, and deep-tech R&D, our system spent a decade milking 2.6 Crore salaried taxpayers to fund election freebies and PR roadmaps! No long term solution ??

No, in fact what constitutes "social discrimination" will keep changing perpetually to keep the movement alive. It's essentially neurotic politics on steroids and the fact they follow a historical materialism-infused Buddhism has made matters worse.
