@BJP4India Tax slabs haven’t been changed for last 12 years, while cost of living has doubled. Tax slabs should be doubled. Though IT payers are insignificant number electorally, honesty requires that some relief should be accorded to them too. Surcharge should be applicable from 1 cr.

@BJP4India Income tax is a systematic loot. This rule benefits govt only. salaried class needs inflation linked standard deduction; tax should be paid post actual expenses like home loan, medical bill and schools fees

salaried class don't get any special benefits for health, job loss etc

@BJP4India Income tax is a duguna lagaan on 3% population. First we pay income tax then pay GST on every single transaction. Meanwhile govt spends this money on #freebies. Our hard earned money is literally snatched from us and gave to someone else. Instead of giving freebies, why dont 🧵

If you are a fan of the current government, I have one simple question:

At what point will you start questioning them?

When taxes keep rising but public services don’t?
When middle-class savings are squeezed year after year?
When compliance increases, but accountability doesn’t?

Supporting a government doesn’t mean switching off your brain.
Questioning tax policies is not wrong 😑 . It’s basic financial sense.

Tax return file कर दी, tax pay कर दिया, due date भी निकल गई… लेकिन @IncomeTaxIndia के system में refund अभी भी “processing” mode में ध्यान कर रहा है 🙏

6 महीने से queries pending,
और करीब 75 लाख ITRs अभी भी process नहीं हुए (official data).
Genuine taxpayers को परेशान करना कोई reform नहीं है.
