We are just finishing up Day 1 of our #rethinkandgrowrich workshop delivered by @PaulOMahony๐ง๐ผโ๐ป What an amazing audience we've had!๐ Very excited to see what Day 2 has in store for us!๐คฉ Much more entertaining than #UEFAChampionsLeague โฝ๏ธ or #EastEnders ๐บ ๐คช๐คช
@DanOUB329 Great presentation Dan. Your call to action is clearly laid out (for an individual and an organisation). It's something everyone should consider doing especially with many affected by the rise in cost of living nowadays.
#wk18@B329Leadership@clementOU1 this was my best collaborative work #teamblue has worked so well together.Our Call For Action #mindYourSocial about Social Media affecting our mental health in young people. FB,IG,TT and SC are not going anywhere anytime soon we need to act NOW!
@LorimerWing This is one area I still struggle with a lot. I tend to delay asking for help at the appropriate time. Usually, I will end up being stressed and frustrated for not producing the kind of result I want. This week has taught me that it's okay to ask or delegate to others.
Week 18 #b329leadershipchallenge has been a great experience. It has increased my awareness of the different wicked challenges out there, and the importance of identifying the relevant approaches in addressing them @Barry_Verdin
WK17- In turbulent times leaders can harness storytelling to show empathy and mobilise followers into action.
Reframing challenges can help followers imagine new innovative solutions to societal problems
@Barry_Verdin
#OUB329 Week 17 I learned the power of storytelling as a leadership strategy to reframe disclosures around societal problems. @B329Leadership@Barry_Verdin
#OUB329 Week 15 Resistance leadership.
I have learned that resistance can be good thing. As a leader, one can learn from it, and sometimes it can also bring about positive change.@Barry_Verdin@B329Leadership
#OUB329 Week 16 I have learned that in a activist organisation the key resource is the use of conflict: agonism (constructive forms of conflict) and antagonism (more violent). This has taught me to embrace conflict as part of leadership development @Barry_Verdin@B329Leadership
#OUB329 Week14 Interesting to learn about the three types of challenges that leaders face - tame, wicked and critical. This framework will help my group prioritise the #B329LeadershipChallenge that is important and to develop a call for action @Barry_Verdin#B329Leadership
#OUB329 Wk 9 #Collaboration. This week can be summed up by a quote from Henry Ford, โComing together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.โ @robertsullivan
@Rebecca_B329@Barry_Verdin@B329Leadership I love this week's learning as it confirmed to me my current leadership style, which is the same with you. I also desire to improve my skills in other areas as I progress more in my leadership development
@Rebecca_B329@Barry_Verdin@B329Leadership I think taking into account how people think of us as we build our leadership identity is a humbling thing to do if we aspire to keep growing. It's an area I am pushing myself in as I do tend not to receive criticisms well enough especially from those closest to me.
