Don’t forget folks, in this heat, keep your dogs out of the heat walk them early walk them late but not in the day. Remember, our furry friends don’t have the option of taking off their fur Coates.
From parliamentary answers we now know the government has no evidence floating bus stops improve cycle safety nor do they have any data on cyclist injuries associated with bus stops. The case for excluding blind people from bus services is pretty thin to non-existent.
No pedestrians should be subject to this. Introducing wheeled vehicles onto the pavement has been one of the stupidest public policies you could think of.
Will you sign this petition from @gdcampaigns? We're calling for a pause on hazardous bus stop designs that put people with sight loss in harm's way. https://t.co/ewUFv43pgM

@seandilleyNEWS Maybe the guide dog should apply for the job and put down on the application and then it will be bringing a human with it to feed and water them during the day?
Help me out. How do you describe what task a GUIDE DOG performs for a user when you are explicitly told you can't disclose your disability? Real question on an official form apparently not allowed to say you are blind? Suggestions? :-)
@VincentStops@willnorman We have to deal with many Muppet road users on a daily basis who just don’t know how to do the right thing, it really does induce anxiety when you are nearly moaned down on a zebra crossing or a junction due to the lack of understanding of some motorist
@Keir_Starmer You do keep going on about the working people, what about the voluntary workers that keep many charities and good causes going? We all have a part to play in our countries economy but voluntary workers seem to be forgotten in all this.
Just reading online that Liverpool FC have paid £130 million to sign a football player, just think of all the guide dog partnerships that could supply? It’s ridiculous!
