तभी एक तेज रफ्तार truck ने उन्हें जोरदार टक्कर मार दी

हालत इतनी खराब थी
कि लोगों को लगा शायद वो बच नहीं पाएंगे

कई घंटों तक operation चला
दोनों पैरों की हड्डियाँ टूट चुकी थीं

कुछ दिनों बाद doctors ने discharge तो कर दिया
लेकिन महीनों तक bed rest बताया

घर आने के बाद Nidhi उनका खूब ख्याल रख रही थी
पूरा परिवार यही सोच रहा था
कि अब धीरे-धीरे सब ठीक हो जाएगा

उधर truck driver Dev उर्फ Deepak
कह रहा था
“ये accident जानबूझकर नहीं हुआ… truck का brake fail हो गया था”

Police ने उसे arrest किया
लेकिन सिर्फ 1–1.5 महीने में ही उसे bail मिल गई
