@oscaroverflow It’s not like they actually have $3.8 million cash in the bank. They only realise that money if they sell it. Then where do they live - buy another expensive house or pay expensive rent. Poor bugger just wants somewhere to live, leave them alone
@BenDooley8 I feel for you - dry spells are harder in areas that aren’t used to them. Protect capital stock with bought in feed (grain? Baleage?) be aggressive with offloading trade stock even if it hurts a bit and when it rains keep feeding stock and tighten them right up. Good luck

@Jamesgr64801361 In my personal experience and what I’ve seen out and about it’s called spray and pray for a reason - it’s pretty risky. Take that money and put it into fencing, fertiliser and maybe some chemical topping and/or nitrogen - you will get way better bang for your $$$$

@falconfarming Well said. Keep your head up and look forward- it will end eventually. Droughts aren’t solved in 1 big decision but a series of little ones so keep thinking and create new plan B’s. it will end. Happy to talk if it helps.
