A quantum physicist in the field of condensed matter theory who won Wolf Prize in Physics (2025)
> Born & brought up in Rajasthan
> Completed schooling from government school in a rural village
> He did his Bachelor’s in Physics from Maharaja College, Jaipur
> And Master’s from IIT Kanpur
> Pursued PhD from Stony Brook University, USA under Philip B. Allen and Steven Kivelson
> Then he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Maryland (1986–1988) and at Yale University (1988–1989)
> After that He returned to Stony Brook University as a faculty member in 1989
> In 1998, he moved to Pennsylvania State University as the first Erwin W. Mueller Professor of Physics
Despite coming from a rural village in Rajasthan and facing a severe childhood accident and lifelong disability, he continued his education and became one of the top quantum physicists- His journey is truly an example of resilience and determination.
> His most important contribution is the introduction of particles he named “composite fermions”
> Which form the basis for understanding the Nobel Prize-winning phenomenon of the fractional quantum Hall effect
> He has authored 250+ scientific papers and the book Composite Fermions
> His work fundamentally changed how physicists understand electrons in extreme conditions
For his contributions to physics, he has received many recognitions, including: Oliver E. Buckley Prize (2002) and Wolf Prize in Physics (2025)
He is also Elected to the US National Academy of Sciences (2021) and is Foreign Fellow of INSA (2024/25)
Currently, he is in India and is set to head the Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute, envisioned as a space for cutting-edge research in fundamental physics

Bacteriophages are giant viruses that feast on various types of bacteria.
The presence of large numbers of bacteriophages is a measure of severe bacterial contamination from various sources including human excreta.
Sewage water contains very large amounts of bacteriophages. It doesn't make it drinkable.
The Government will always find such so-called scientists with a penchant for twisting and misinterpreting scientific data to fit their narrative, instead of making the public more aware, to prevent widespread negative healthcare events.
This is a government of the people, by the people, but definitely not for the people.
