*Reiterate their faith in the judiciary*

We as complainants to the sexual assault meted out to us by the then President of the Wresting Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, MP, are extremely happy today that charges u/s 354, 354 A and have been framed against Brij Bhushan sharan Singh today, by the Addl. Chief metropolitan magistrate Ms. Priyank Rajput in the Rouse Avenue courts. We are extremely pleased that despite the accused having moved applications to delay decisions, was finally charged under section 506 IPC against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singha and Vinod Tomar secretary of the Federation.

This is a big milestone in our 18 months Struggle, which started in January 2023 on the streets, then committees, back on the Streets and finally in the courts, against the main perpetrator of sexual crimes against women wrestlers and the promotion of misogyny that has existed in this Federation.

We have full faith In the judiciary and look forward to a fair trial and Justice being meted out to us.

रेसलिंग फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (WFI) के तत्कालीन अध्यक्ष, सांसद बृज भूषण शरण सिंह द्वारा महिला पहलवानों के साथ किए गए यौन उत्पीड़न के शिकायतकर्ता के तौर पर महिला पहलवान आज बेहद खुश हैं कि राउज़ एवेन्यू कोर्ट में अतिरिक्त मुख्य मेट्रोपोलिटन मजिस्ट्रेट (एसीएमएम) प्रियंका राजपूत द्वारा बृजभूषण भूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ धारा 354, 354 ए के तहत आरोप तय किए गए हैं। हमें बेहद खुशी है कि मुख्य आरोपी बृज भूषण शरण सिंह द्वारा कई तरीकों से आरोप तय के फैसले में देरी हो, के बावजूद, बृज भूषण शरण सिंह और फेडरेशन के सचिव विनोद तोमर के खिलाफ आईपीसी की धारा 506 IPC के tahat भी आरोप तय हुए हैं l

यह महिला पहलवानों के खिलाफ यौन अपराधों के मुख्य अपराधी के ख़िलाफ़ चल रहे हमारे 18 महीने के आंदोलन में एक बड़ा मील का पत्थर है, जो जनवरी 2023 से सड़कों, कमेटियों, जंतर मंतर पर और अब अदालत में जारी है.

हमें न्यायपालिका पर पूरा भरोसा है और हम निष्पक्ष सुनवाई और न्याय की आशा करते हैं।

हम वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता रेबेका जॉन और अधिवक्ता हर्ष बोरा, चिन्मय कनौजिया, प्रविता कश्यप, भावुक चौहान, प्रवीर सिंह, नीलांजन डे, तुषार यादव और अनुष्का बरुआ के नेतृत्व वाली अपनी कानूनी टीम के बेहद आभारी हैं।

I have worked 70-80 hours a week in my early 20s and let me tell you how I felt:

- No personal life during week days
- High work anxiety
- Declining mental and physical health
- No time for self-care
- Eagerly waiting for weekends
- No time for hobbies
- Burnout and Frustration at its peak

So not sure about others, but asking to work 14 hrs/day in a corporate job is a bad idea.

Whosoever might be advocating for it, my personal experience says it isn’t sustainable.
