Stress and anxiety are HUGE issues in middle school as well. I'm going to build in time for my students to do the reflection activities described in the article.
In interactive classrooms:
1. Teachers are GUIDES on the RIDE.
2. The noise level is LOUDER.
3. Students work COLLABORATIVELY.
4. Learners are EMPOWERED.
5. Technology is used to CREATE.

@ericcurts A great Revision History tool is the Chrome extension called "Draftback." Compiles the RH into a video so you can see the Ss writing process play out before you. Also provides data on editors and number of contributions made. Very powerful for conferencing and accountability.
