Women have been jailed for miscarriages and being accused of doing things to terminate a wanted pregnancy. In the US a woman eating sushi could be used against her when they still eat it in Japan.

The city of Jackson, MS is under a water emergency. No water for things like fires, bathing, toilet flushing, drinking, etc. Because the state of Mississippi has consistently failed its Jackson residents, that are majority Black, we need a federal response. This is unbelievable

@petersagal I had the one doctor that delivered my kid via emergency c-section tell me she didn't know how I made it to the hospital alive in the state I was in. Pregnancy is dangerous in and of itself. I don't want someone with an unwanted pregnancy to endure what I did or even worse.

@petersagal When I asked an OB about being afraid to have another kid I was initially brushed off about it. A few mins later when he had me go down to his office he apologized for his initial response. I'm guessing he actually looked up my records and saw how critical I was.
