@Carawieneke Instead of simply looking into why this happens... You chose to believe the government is somehow intelligent and powerful enough to figure out how to control the weather, keep it closely guarded... But not intelligent enough to not make it obvious to idiots like yourself?
@wi11fr0sco@cassiefrey_wx@GumryWX@BadenCurnz Well... I already did, as you saw while scrolling through my posts.
Very nice of you to be interested in me enough to do that but I'm not into men, sorry.
@liorsela@JSX423 Highly recommend skipping 14.3 for now for this reason in addition to many others. It' got slightly better at a couple things but pretty bad regression in multiple areas. Left lane camping is terrible in 14.3 for example.
I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could
An important additional note here is that there is a new push towards "water-free" closed loop systems. But these are generally pretty small facilities (comparatively) and there's not many. I think still less than 15% of compute is "water-free" but they still don't quite function like you described but are much closer.
Family in HVAC, got to visit several of DCs over time and see how these systems work.
I think we are on the same side (that this isn't the problem some want to make it out to be) but you are only covering half the cooling system of data centers.
You are correct, there is a closed loop system in data centers. But the other half of the system is open loop. The closed loop system "gathers" the heat, and the open loop system takes the heat from the closed loop system and dumps it outside using cooling towers.
That water is, in fact evaporated into the atmosphere. But again.. this is the water cycle. That water doesn't disappear forever, it will be returned as rain.
@DevinOlsenn Thanks! I live nowhere near the places with zoox so not positive, just looked closer to them than waymos jaguars that I rode in before I moved
