The Board of Directors of SAF-Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Akinyi Linda Koi as the Executive Director, effective 1st April 2026.
Linda served as the Interim Executive Director since 1st July 2025, following the departure of our former Executive Director, Lucy Kioko. She now takes on the substantive role at a pivotal moment of growth for SAF-Africa.
With senior previous experience as the head of finance, building strong institutional frameworks through enforcement of strong governance structures, Linda will lead SAF-Africa’s next phase of institutional strengthening and programmatic scale. Under her leadership, we will deepen work in seed systems, agri-entrepreneurship, climate resilience, inclusive finance, and market-based solutions.
The Board looks forward to working with her to strengthen partnerships, accelerate impact, and advance our vision: smallholders, communities, and nature thriving together.
Welcome, Akinyi Linda Koi.
