@anikmalcolm WOW!! Who ever thought Bitcoin chairs would be a thing! But in retrospect, I hear there were a lot of folks who went without chairs for a long time!!
@anikmalcolm I wanted to be in Prague so bad, but couldn’t work it out logistically.
Loved the pic of all the artists at BTCPrague! Looks like @FractalEncrypt did a fantastic job.
It's been 2 days since @BTCPrague and I will soon share photos and all the amazing experiences. But I want to share something that's been on my mind (and heart) since I left.
The energy and people at the conference were incredible. It felt like home, it felt like hope, it felt like a different path really is possible.
Everyone loved the art gallery. @FractalEncrypt, did an incredible job curating, preparing and just being there with a humble smile, ready to help with whatever small detail anyone asked for.
The work was outstanding. The gallery always gives an extra added value to conferences. It lets people see and feel what all this is about.
Extremely talented people that put their heart and hours and hours of work into creating things that never existed. Into bringing beauty, knowledge and depth into this space and into this world. I personally know the sweat, tears and enormous amounts of effort that go into each of these pieces.
But the incredible reception of the gallery was not reflected in the overall sales. Many artists didn't sell anything and many works were sold below their value.
In the three days at the conference , I had many conversations with different artists, all saying the same thing. How can I keep creating and also pay the bills?
Many have FIAT jobs, but that leaves little time for creation. Real art takes time.
I genuinely believe art is one of the foundations of humanity. Bitcoin can change where the world is headed, but we also need to ask ourselves what we want that world to look like.
There have been talks about getting institutions and patrons to fund art. I, personally, think institutional funding kills creativity and that's not part of the world we're trying to create. Artists need to be free to do their thing. We don't know what the masters would have painted in the past if they were truly free.
And thats one of the things Bitcoin Art should be. Freely created art.
To not have to depend on institutions or grants, that freedom has to come from collectors who are interested in the work, who see something in it and see the importance of being in that artist's journey.
There are so many talented artists in this space and we can't afford to lose their art and send these artists to just do a FIAT job that pays their bills and stop creating.
So if you enjoyed the art gallery, next time you want to add some love to your house, check out bitcoin art. Add a piece of history, culture and hope and help keep the heart of this space going by allowing artists to continue creating.
To be very clear , this isn't an ask for charity. It is an invitation to be a part of creating history, to build and be part of a decentralised web of patrons of the new bitcoin civilization.
@HouseOfRalfus did an amazing job moderating this conversation in the conference with @FractalEncrypt@Eric_BIGfund and @DrJackKruse. Two collectors who already understand this. Two of many that have been supporting bitcoin art continuously and with so much love.
But we need more, if this is truly to be decentralized and to grow the culture in this space.
My collectors aren't just people that buy my art, they are people that are walking with me on this journey and I am extremely grateful for that.
We will continue this conversation on the 'Movement of Art' podcast.
In the meantime, if you've read up to here , I will tag many artists you can check out in the comments. And if I've missed someone, please add them.
If bitcoin is still in it's early stages, bitcoin art is in its extremely early stages.
This is your heads up to get in early.🔥

@buckethatbtc@btcculturehub This really cracked me up! Had to explain to no Bitcoiner family why “getting a COUCH” was so funny.
Looks like a beautiful space!

Seeing how they start to understand Bitcoin and how it can genuinely change their lives… it’s priceless.
And the best part? Having a friend who already believe in Bitcoin, who get it, and who share this same vision and energy with me.

🚨 SHOCKING DISCOVERY THEY BURIED:
Hydroxychloroquine doesn’t just fight viruses — it turns viruses into precision-guided cancer killers. It allows viruses to attack cancer cells while leaving healthy cells completely untouched.
This comes straight from Dr. Richard Urso (ophthalmologist and member of America’s Frontline Doctors) in a powerful presentation. Why was this information suppressed and the data obscured?
Because a cheap, decades-old drug that could selectively destroy cancer would be catastrophic for the multi-trillion-dollar cancer industry.
They don’t want you to know this. They want you dependent on expensive treatments forever.
The truth is out. Share it before it gets buried again.
