A little Christmas treat for myself today from @ImaginedThings & a reminder of all those wonderful people working over Christmas 📚 #books#NHSChristmas
Here is our CWCC 2019 group. 11 fantastic women, from 9 different organisations coming together for a year to think, learn and grow. And our 2018 group gained so much that they have all signed up for a second year. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
Know someone aged 20-35? I'm offering scholarship places on each of my foundation level courses, to enable bright young thinkers to embrace the Thinking Environment and all it makes possible, without worrying about cost. Applications now open.

Picked up this little gem from @ImaginedThings bookshop in Harrogate at the weekend. Brilliant story, quirky book and dare I say the main character is a little reminiscent of Eleanor Oliphant (if she worked in a Japanese convenience store😆)
@lilymaytoomey Many women (and men too) experience imposter syndrome which can hold us back from applying for opportunities. It’s useful to ask a trusted friend for some feedback on your application information. Also if you can look on an application as a learning opportunity & ask for feedback
@lilymaytoomey Obviously not the right men for you! It slightly reminds me of the story that girls do less well in mixed schools than in single sex ones - boys better in mixed schools. Another message that girls should not overachieve. Hang in there for Mr I-think-you-are-amazing-as-you-are
@AOC My mum cleaned houses when my dad left. I too did my homework (and occasionally helped her!) while she worked hard to keep us in the same home. She instilled in me a determination and pride in work and self.
