This notion of young children being 'behind' and needing to 'catch up' has really been troubling me, but despite going round and round I'm still not sure why?
When we go back, we'll just carry on.... wherever the children are.... like we always do... GIRFEC

The more we use the language of “catch up”, the more we normalise the idea this is a thing that is even possible. This is the language of anxious adults. It isn’t about children, it isn’t about GIRFEC & it isn’t in line w/ the UNCRC. @margl43 @Dr_Pam_Jarvis @UpstartScot

Healing from tough times comes by making sense of that time.

My P6/7 caught the last 20 mins of winter sun this afternoon, a pupil was playing and "planted a tree" then asked if I would come back with him in 50 years to see it ❤️ I told him I'd nearly be a nonagenarian 😉 he said its OK, I'll wheel you in ☺️
