In 1990, Singapore's population was 3 million people. Out of that, about 200k (6%) were Malaysians.

Latest data (2020), Singapore's population is 5.7 million, and now...about 1.1 million (20%) are Malaysians!

This brain drain is one huge negative impact of Msia's low wages.
