Storm Francis is on the way but shouldn't be anything like Desmond or Eva back in February. A yellow warning for rain creeps in on the far western side tomorrow following a line through Askwith, West End, Greenhow and Lofthouse. It'll still be a wet Tuesday for everyone else.

Swaledale Mountain Rescue. A team of dedicated & highly trained volunteers who are on call 24/7. They get called out to search & rescue, from cragfast sheep to lost walkers & broken bones, they’re true heroes.

Water kit used by @NorthYorksFire crews from Richmond, Leyburn & Northallerton, along with @SwaledaleMRT to rescue a man with head injuries after jumping from rocks into River Swale at The Falls. Hot weather, alcohol and water don't mix well. Stay safe, respect the water.
