@ChrisDeMuthJr@ClarkSquareCap Brookmont Catastrophic Bond ETF is a good way to get this exposure but honestly the best ways is private capital still really underrated asset class
@JoeValue You know if taiwan surrenders. I think the situation would be a lot like hong kong period of transition market reacts negatively, but discount rates adjust afterwards. If there is war, maybe the situation changes. In transition, don't think hong kong lost its edge.
My friend Isaac is investing since he was 15. With 22 he is one of the most talented young stockpickers I know. Actually already better than most double his age (including me).
If you are searching (or know someone who is) a buy side analyst, I highly recommend contacting Isaac
Just recorded a catch up interview with @JoeValue
Really enjoyed it and since we last spoke he's bought a firm of financial advisors so there was plenty to discuss!
This was a good year 🤯
Very blessed to have @Swapnil00456809 as my Buffett / Munger investment partner to work through ideas together.
We’ve pulled through in some tough times and learned a huge amount together!
Modified our strategy, and
Hit 4 big home-runs this year!
🥂🚀
Buying opportunity IMO - for anyone that sees the sp up 200% in a year, just try and work out forward pe and it will be obvious.
Recent DeepSeek news spells further growth in Semiconductors and testing will be needed even more!
Not investment advice. Holding
@LT3000Lyall Good pushback. I think limiting factors will win out in the end over ideological idiocy . Don't see respective EU parliaments committing manpower over in ukraine during active conflict or making up the difference in spending. Ukr public opinion has also shifted a bit.
@LT3000Lyall Don't you think there is enough limiting factors on both sides for them to come to a deal. Russia inventory issue as well as economical slowdown. On the ukraine side man power issue as well as potential lack of resources from usa pulling out. Agree about elections
@MikeFritzell Nothing bad to say about your analysis. Keep the faith your good. Maybe cut stuff more if things are not working. Diversify the same risk reward . I think you will have a monster year at somepoint.
@orrdavid@junkbondanalyst Terrible take. He is also a steward of capital making sure money is there for sick families. Pricing and american insurance system are different things.
