@HornChronicles It basically became go to material for the CIA and the United States Army and all others entity , it was showing up in the CIA’s Handbook for Special Operations. It shaped how the U.S operated in Somalia in decades for hold it down.
The Middle East war is reshaping global energy, food, and trade.
Somalia highly import dependent will take the biggest hit.
Energy ↑ Food ↑ Trade disrupted
A survival level crisis. What’s the ONE action Somalia must take in the next 90 days?

The deal was signed by the Somali parliament without proper review, raising questions about oversight.
Notably, the same parliament recently approved a new constitution, making the lack of scrutiny even more concerning.
The Somalia–Turkey oil deal let you know everthing you need to know about this administration
Red flags:
• No signing bonus • Only ~5% royalty • 90% cost recovery • Weak local jobs rules • No domestic supply guarantee
5 No competitive bidding & transferable rights
•Rights granted directly to TPAO
•Can transfer rights to other companies without a local presence
Reduces transparency and bargaining power for Somalia.
BREAKING — A MESSAGE TO ALL SOMALI PEOPLE WORLDWIDE
My beloved Somali brothers and sisters,
For four years we have watched our country suffer under reckless leadership. Our national resources have been looted, thousands of poor families have been evicted from their homes, our national army has been weakened, and our sovereignty has been traded away through secret deals with foreign powers. A dangerous system of corruption and nepotism has taken over our institutions, while the leadership of both chambers of Parliament has been compromised to silence accountability.
But today I want to share something historic with you.
As a Member of the House of the People who has been investigating corruption and abuse of power at the highest level of government — despite threats to my safety and attempts to illegally remove me from Parliament — I have taken action to defend our Constitution and our country.
On March 9, 2026, I filed a case at the East African Court of Justice challenging the illegal constitutional amendments imposed on March 4 and signed by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on March 8.
I filed this case on behalf of all Somali citizens because Somalia currently has no Constitutional Court to stop this abuse of power.
If we do not act now, when the Parliament’s term expires in April 2026 and the President’s term ends on May 15, 2026, our country could face a dangerous constitutional vacuum that may lead to violence and conflict — a tragedy we all remember from 1991.
This legal action is to protect Somalia from falling into chaos again.
The message is simple:
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. NOT EVEN THE PRESIDENT.
I am asking every Somali citizen — inside Somalia and across the diaspora — to stand with me in this historic moment.
Please take responsibility for our nation.
