People comparing @actorvijay's political entry with @PawanKalyan's struggle are ignoring one fundamental difference.

Vijay entered politics in an era where TN has a visible leadership vacuum after Jayalalithaa & Karunanidhi. Stalin and EPS simply do not command that level of charisma or emotional hold over cadres and voters. Even MLAs shifting towards TVK reflects that vacuum as much as Vijay’s pull.

But Pawan Kalyan chose to fight in Andhra Pradesh, one of the most caste-driven political environments in the country. This is a State where CBN’s grip over Kuppam and YSJ’s grip over Pulivendula remain intact regardless of who wins the State. Even CBN himself cannot defeat YSJ in Pulivendula, nor YSJ himself can defeat CBN in Kuppam. That is deep-rooted political credibility there. Just compare it with Stalin now!

On top of that, Pawan Kalyan carried the baggage of PRP and spent years convincing people that he wasn’t here to quit midway. Yesterday’s speech was simply highlighting this contrast between TN and AP politics, especially how caste politics in AP reduced even his wider political identity into a caste label.

He said it in a light-hearted conversational manner. Anybody listening without bias could understand the context clearly. So stop spinning your own fantasies now.
