@mikey3982 Interesting…maybe the outcome questionnaire has poor psychometrics (celiling effects, unreliable, poor validity) or is off target for what ePRO education might actually affect
@mikey3982 Need to read. A lot to disentangle: if we use ePROs in clinic, patients need directions, time and understanding of the what for; practitioners need item-level understanding and knowledge of the so what; none of it matters if the ePRO isn’t any good (wrong items, time, or patient)
New podcast out. Have a listen as Meena Kalluri answers questions about how to manage dyspnea in patients with pulmonary fibrosis.
Meena is clearly on of the thought leaders in the area. Insightful. Smart. Caring. Empathic.

What we know (or think we know):
1. Lung fibroblasts have circadian rhythms
https://t.co/0MCRT8mqZm
2. Their circadian rhythms not normal in PF
3. Time restricted eating, sleep, exercise - normalize circadian rhythms; ⬆️NAD, autophagy, etc.
Research long overdue #IPF#curePF
Integral component of a healthy lifestyle for all (including our patients with PF). Let’s not forget the importance of exercise as we develop treatment regimens with our patients with PF.
@drdayjee@Medscape Thanks for posting Deji. I wish we had a couple hours to dive deeper. This is an excellent conversation starter and reminder to all who care for patients with CTD-ILD that antifibrotics may have a role.
