The #Whitehouse released a fact sheet today suggesting that #China committed to purchasing $17 billion dollars of US #agricultural products above and beyond what was already agreed to on $soybeans back in October for year 2026, 2027 and 2028.

Given the current price for soybeans total purchases would reach between $27 billion to $28 billion a year.

The 4 year baseline prior to the current #trade war was ~$31 billion/year and for the year 2025 was ~$16 billion.

They did not specify quantities for any particular market.
