Auto owner Mohammad Danish has accused Traffic Police TI Anupam Singh of targeting him because of his religion, assaulting him, abusing him, and demanding an illegal bribe of ₹10,000.

Danish said that despite having all valid documents, his auto was seized. When he protested, he was allegedly beaten and threatened with jail for being Muslim.
