Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Nigeria (Remote) | Type: Full-Time

Looking for a creative, trend-savvy Video Editor to join the team full-time. If you can tell compelling stories through video, follow editing trends, and know how to color grade and bring footage to life  this might be for you.

What You'll Do:
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content (YouTube videos, interviews, tutorials, podcasts)
- Color grade and stylize footage to give it a professional, polished look
- Add music, captions, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements to enhance storytelling
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips for different platforms
- Stay on top of video trends and bring fresh, engaging editing styles to the table
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to meet content goals
- Bonus: Use motion graphics and light animations to enhance edits

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on video editing experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form projects
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (preferred), Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Ability to tell a story through your edits — pacing, flow, emotion, and impact
- Color grading and sound editing skills
- Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus
- Up-to-date with current TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram video trends
- A stable, fast internet connection
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely

Bonus Points If You:
- Have worked with creators, influencers, or brands
- Know how to use AI tools (for transcription, automation, content generation, etc.)
- Are reliable, creative, and thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
