The world can be dark and frustrating - so in the effort to bring some light and encouragement, I decided to release an old video from 17 years ago.
It's wild to think that I shouldn't be alive today - but through the support of friends and family, incredible science and by the grace of God I am here.

Are you under the "Wall Street Hypnosis"?
Weโre told to auto-wire our paychecks into a 401(k) and hope for the best. But having 100% of your wealth in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds isn't true diversification.
While the middle class relies entirely on paper assets, the wealthy build their wealth differently - using alternative, non-correlated assets like real estate, private equity, and commodities.
Scared of the fees or lack of guarantees in alternative assets?
Have you read your mutual fund prospectus?
You take 100% of the risk, and you pay fees whether the market goes up or down.
It's time to stop holding alternative investments to a different standard than your retirement account.
If you want to buy back your time and build wealth like the top 1%, snap out of the hypnosis.

Doctors said he wouldnโt survive past a few months.
Born 3.5 months premature. 3 lbs, 1 oz. Blind, deaf, and born addicted to meth and heroin.
Fast forward: He won two National Championships at USC and played in the NFL. ๐คฏ
How did JWalk go from the notorious projects of Chicago - where he fought daily and ran "packages" for gang members at 7 years old just to buy snacks-to reaching the pinnacle of college and professional football?
The craziest part? Because of his health and the dangerous neighborhoods he grew up in, his mom kept him in a metaphorical "bubble wrap." He wasn't even allowed to play sports. He had to forge his mother's signature and medical records to secretly sneak onto his high school football team.
You do not want to miss this incredible story of resilience, faith, and defying absolutely impossible odds on the latest episode of the Secrets to Abundant Living podcast.

Imagine having $5 million in the bank, but you haven't seen your kidโs soccer game in a year.
Youโre working 80 hours a week, and when you finally take a vacation, youโre too exhausted to even enjoy it.
Is that actually wealth?
Or is it just a high-paying trap?
In our latest episode of Secrets to Abundant Living, weโre breaking down why societyโs definition of "rich" is broken and how to actually fix it.
Weโre moving past the "hustle culture" and focusing on the only currency that matters: Time.
In this episode, we dive into:
๐ The "Freedom Number": Why tracking your net worth is a trap, and what you should be tracking instead.
๐ The Hourly Rate Shift: Why your total salary matters less than how much you make for every hour of your life you give away.
๐ Buying Back Your Calendar: Real strategies to create "hands-off" income (beyond just real estate) so you can own 7 days of your week.
(Special shoutout to @_ChristianC11_ who is defying all the odds)
Stop trading your life for a paycheck. Start building a life where you donโt have to ask a boss for permission to live it.

What an honor to have @TravonPatterson on the podcast this week!
If you don't know Travon, you should:
- He went from play football at USC to the NFL (sadly his injuries cut his career short)
- He then dedicated his life to helping others through social work and working in probation
- He now is the head football coach at Long Beach Poly and has a successful career in real estate
I'm so impressed by his work ethic and mindset.
If you've ever felt stuck, lost or if you were forced to start over, this episode will give you a grounded way to think about your next move.
Thank you again, Travon! Fight On! โ๏ธ

Dr. @mpboylemd and @MaryDwight you are putting the lives of people living with #cysticfibrosis at risk.
In 2017, I was too sick to work. I had no idea how to navigate getting on Social Security Disability benefits, and I didn't have the money to pay for a lawyer - let alone one who actually understood the complexities of cystic fibrosis.
The CF Social Security Project was my lifeline.
Now, the @CF_Foundation has decided to end funding for this vital program.
There is no other legal team on this planet more experienced in successfully helping people with CF obtain and keep their disability benefits.
They have a 20+ year proven track record of helping the most vulnerable in our community.
Why would we turn this massive responsibility over to inexperienced legal teams who don't know the nuances of helping people with CF to receive and maintain their life-saving benefits.
- Imagine living with cystic fibrosis.
- Imagine being far too sick to work, in and out of the hospital battling life-threatening lung infections.
- Your only ability to pay for food and shelter is your disability benefit.
And now, the CFF is no longer going to fund the exact organization equipped to help you survive.
Dr Boyle and Mary Dwight - We are calling on you to reverse this decision.
The most vulnerable members of our community are depending on it.
The wealthy use leverage (other people's knowledge, time and money) to grow their wealth.
Why?
- Grow wealth
- Grow wealth faster
- Control their time
For me, real estate investing ticks all of these boxes.
- Historically a hedge against inflation
- Debt means I use the bank's $
- Property management gives me back time while I learn income
Real estate isn't for everyone. Regardless of your vehicle, it may be worth studying the leverage secrets of the wealthy.
