Check out this cool article in the @RNZonline about the @SciPubQuiz, a science outreach initiative organized by SYNQS members Lisa Ringena and @LiebsterNikolas together with Dennis Schulz. Many thanks to IsoQuant for the financial support. #scicomm
Kick-Off meeting and sampling with our colleagues from @oeaw at #Jamtalferner. There's definitely a difference in climatic conditions between the glacier and the #ATTA lab. We are excited about the things the glacier ice will tell us.
We had lots of fun at our #girlsday2021 event. We sent double pendulums to participants and spoke with them about measuring time, chaos theory, and the interplay between theory and experiment.
Many thanks to our amazing team for putting on this great event!
Come and work with us @UniHeidelberg and do your #master or #phd thesis @Synqs. Check out our poster for details and contact us or retweet to let your friends know about this great opportunity.
Looking at light propagation in Rydberg EIT media from a new angle, we found that none of the previously used theoretical models manages to capture the interaction-induced non-linear absorption properly. Check out our preprint: https://t.co/K6P9gFniY8
Congratulations to Maurus and the BECK experiment on their first paper! They discuss a new technique for absorption imaging of alkali-like atoms at moderate magnetic fields. Check it out here: https://t.co/On4ihQCYYM
We are very proud of group member .@max_pruefer for being awarded a Marie Curie fellowship, and look forward to all of the exciting physics he will do. Congrats! 🎉
We are advertising three PhD positions in Physics at the intersection of quantum computing, many-body physics, and neuromorphic computing. The positions involve both theory and experiment and are funded by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation. More Info: https://t.co/ebrBXa3Rym
