Dad, love sport, teach maths... tweets are usually about Maths and Food!!

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@YorkCityFC any idea when tickets for the Shrewbury game will be available?

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@shrewsburytown could you let me know when tickets for the York game go on sale? Thank you

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@misswwmaths @Advanced_Maths @JusSumChick @Just_Maths @mathsjem @mathsbox1 @MrDEB74 @Shvp30 If strictly #maths, partial fractions, mod graphs or intro to radians?
If you can stray into FM matrix transformations or complex numbers

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@kerboodle Ok, yes I use them already - it’s a shame that the FM resources are not being considered in the same way as the Maths, which has all the A and B tests for its chapters. Why is that??

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@kerboodle can I just confirm that you haven’t ever produced any assessment material for the AQA A-Level Further Maths course - I have the textbook, and the assessment material for Maths, but nothing for Further Maths? (The course has been examined for 3 yrs now!)

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@MicrosoftTeams Thanks - what a shame as I only have the iPad to work from and these would add a lot to what the students experience. Is it coming? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@MicrosoftTeams is there any way to set up breakout rooms for my classes, from an iPad??
Thanks!

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@posingpeewag @yorkonafork Thanks - that’s definitely a great place to look. 👍

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@yorkonafork any idea where is a good place to get really nice delivery or collection food midweek in york? Loads of places doing the weekend but need something for next Wednesday.

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@indieyorkmap any ideas on places to get top end delivery/collection food midweek in york? Most places seem to be weekend only?

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@360maths Yes, that is the convention (certainly for textbooks/exams) - for your question, it would have had to be worded ‘A, B, C & D are the vertices of a parallelogram’

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@YorkISSP He was fab all week - really engaged with the students and was a great asset to the team. All of the assistants do a great job! 👏👏👏👍🏻🤩

[Tony M @T0nymca]

A great end to a fab week @YorkISSP #mythsandmachines #summerschool An #EscapeRoom covering all of the many topics covered. Well done to all of the students - everyone
gave their all to everything they did over a very busy week 🤩👏👏👍🏻😎 Enjoy the Summer! #classics #stem

[Tony M @T0nymca]

Some great ideas from the students about how they might have filled the Colosseum with water for the spectacle of ‘Naumachia’. We also looked at how we can get water to go uphill, including making an Archimedes Screw @YorkISSP #mythsandmachines #classics #stem

[Tony M @T0nymca]

Finally recovering after a busy last day @YorkISSP #mythsandmachines #summerschool starting with ‘question pong’ and ‘fact table tennis’ to recap some of what they had learned over the week, before progressing to ‘gladiator training’ #Classics

[Tony M @T0nymca]

It’s been another good morning at the @YorkISSP #MythsAndMachines summer school. Learning about Roman Arches (and how difficult they were to build!) 😂😎 #classics #STEM

[Tony M @T0nymca]

1st day at #MythsandMachines @YorkISSP #summerschool Learning about the ancient @Olympics and then running our own version 😎 #classics #STEM

[Tony M @T0nymca]

@sxpmaths I think that is one of the most upsetting things I’ve ever read on Twitter! 🤯 They should reimburse every person who bought it! 💷😢 wow... just wow 😲

All the balls are the same color — and that color is *brown*!
