Sam has a very specific system for thinking clearly through writing.

As he puts it:

"You definitely want a spiral notebook because one thing that's important is you can rip pages out frequently. I take a bunch of notes and then I clearly rip them out so I can look at multiple pages at the same time, and I can crumple them up and throw them on the floor when I'm done."

On why writing matters, even with AGI:

"Writing is a tool for thinking, most importantly, and I don't think that's going anywhere. It's really important that people still learn to write for this reason.
