I’m shocked and devastated to learn about the passing of Charlie Kirk.
Above all else, Charlie was a follower of Jesus, a husband, and a dad. He was a man of passion, courage, and devotion to making an eternal impact.
Demi and I are praying for Erika, his two children, and everyone who loved him.
Thanks to the stable air around, #Erin has no real central convection. However, it still has a good structure. There is a low level eye apparent from visible imagery, and if it can generate convection soon it could organize quickly. Will need to do so eventually though or else the structure will fall apart. The cumulus near its center is getting increasingly agitated, so I'd imagine this would happen soon.
The lack of convection also means Erin gets steered by low level flow. Since that flow is more northerly, it will once again push Erin south of expected, and I imagine the current trend will continue. Definitely a nowcasting scenario where we'll have to keep an eye on the current track like we did back near Cabo Verde. It's dipping south already, down to about 17N. Will end up south of NHC forecast. Worth noting the HCCA consensus has moved quite far southwest due to this dip becoming longer and sharper. TVCN not so aggressive yet. Definitely worth being ready for Erin in the Leeward Islands given how trends are going. These WSW dip scenarios typically are a bit more stubborn than forecast too which may lead to the current trend continuing. We'll see what happens. As you can see from the trend, these small changes snowball into large shifts in the track
