Using birth years into national ID numbers was a lazy shortcut. Now that same number doubles as a tax ID (TIN) handing your exact age to every portal and vendor, easy pickings for profiling. A privacy time bomb. Someone’s smiling. @NIRA_Ug@URAuganda

If even the ministry can rethink and know that it messed up a bit and suspend the AutoEPS, what should we call people who supported everything about it just because they get paid to do so?
Are they paid a lot or they just choose not to think beyond posters? You clearly see that this has flows but for you,it doesn't matter.
Sometimes even when looking for bread to feed your family, there are lines you should never cross!!!
Now you understand why traffic lights are being installed at every junction in Kampala. With every EPS issued, that digital company takes a share. @SpireJim
As a country we are easily gullible and deserve everything they throw at us.
In a country where less than 1% earn more than 1 million UGX, why would a road fine exceed half of most of Ugandans' monthly salary!!!
You haven't updated the road signs, and it shows 70km/h but speed limit is 30km/h🤦
Imagine driving at 40km/h and your entire month's salary is gone.
I keep screaming this at you people, and one of you told me mbu it's because I have no children. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, you'll explain to the traffic officer when you're caught.

VIDEO: It's unfair that the minority report wasn't heard. Africa risks digital recolonization by companies like Reponami, taking control of our tax systems. We must safeguard our sovereignty from foreign cartels. ~ Hon. @NserekoMuhammad, MP Kampala Central, today in Parliament.
@Sudhirntv Greater attention should be directed toward pedestrians who disregard designated walkways and create paths through the grass. Standing or resting in these areas shouldn't be a crime
If ‘patriotism’ is the answer, why don’t the Permanent Secretary and other top health officials work for free and redirect their hefty salaries to frontline health workers? A PS’s salary could pay 10+ community health workers. Funny how ‘patriotism’ always demands sacrifice from the poor. Injustice!
