THE PTA TAPES

Talking about physical therapy from a PTA perspective 🎧 Co-Hosts: @EvanSinglar & @EddieErnstPTA || #PTAstrong #choosePT #GetPT1st

[Sean Hagey @SeanHagey]

@Brittanie_SPTA @EddieErnstPTA @sean_bagbey @C_Phillips2016 @valerieb_pta @kypac2 @APTAptac I can't recommend enough that PTAs reach out to their chapters and/or get involved with a section. They always can use the help.

It's fun, benefits the individual AND profession, and it opens up all kinds of doors for future jobs, connections, and growth.

[Krissa Reeves @kreevespta]

Good thing about traveling to clinical sites is that I have time to listen to @THE_PTA_TAPES, problem now is I am completely addicted.

@THE_PTA_TAPES @JNewman_15 @PTPintcast @graditude_s @NStudycast Yea, many of the guests on @THE_PTA_TAPES possess sage like wisdom, masculine features, and a beard that would make Paul Bunyan jealous.

[THE PTA TAPES @THE_PTA_TAPES]

@JNewman_15 @PTPintcast @graditude_s @NStudycast We might be biased, but we're a fan of @THE_PTA_TAPES

[Adam B. Hill, M.D. @Adamhill1212]

About a month ago, I was asked to do a "talk" on "resilience", "wellness" or "self-care" or something.

Instead, I walked into an auditorium of 200 med students, pulled out a chair, sat down and said "I've been struggling recently".

Let's just talk.

For Christmas I got my son (PTA in May 2019) his first APTA membership. So proud!! @APTAtweets Joined Ortho, Sports and Federal Sections and is planning on CSM 2020.

[Michael Landsberg 🇨🇦 🔯 🏳️‍🌈 @heylandsberg]

I'm fucking pissed. A dear friend is feeling way better on a new medication & people are telling her "its only synthetic happiness."
LISTEN!! Meds can't make you happy. They can only give you the chance to feel happiness. If you disagree with me-

Question: when is it appropriate to start applying for jobs? I graduate in May, take the boards in July, how soon is too soon? 🆘

[Justin Moore @policy4pt]

Proud of the @APTAtweets and US @DeptVetAffairs partnership announced today to promote and support our Nation's Veterans. This builds on long history of support for military and Veterans by physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in the US. https://t.co/MAmMsOET8l

[Emilio Jones Rouco, MA @PRforPT]

.@APTAtweets enters into new partnership with @DeptVetAffairs to benefit both veterans and physical therapists. #BetterTogether #ChoosePT

@ASheldDPT @Steven_AK Its a big conversation to have and we definitely cant address it all in one 1.5hr conversation haha. Especially when its just me and a guy that agrees with me. We're hoping to start the conversation and get more people on board.

[THE PTA TAPES @THE_PTA_TAPES]

@ASheldDPT @Steven_AK @AAOMPT @APTAtweets @OrthopaedicAPTA @NAIOMT @EIMTeam @DrDunning @icephysio Hey guys!
By practice act we can assess. (Hence the assessment portion of the SOAP note).
However we obviously cant evaluate or reevaluate, which is what AAOMPT and APTA says is required to perform any manip/mobilization.
