Heartfelt congratulations and thanks to @gareththomasMP and @ro_conect for hosting in the House of Commons this significant event dedicated to the promotion of #Bucovina - the first one in a series aimed at promoting various regions of #Romania here in the UK.

As a representative of the Romanian Consulate General in London, it was truly a privilege to attend this event and express our support for the promotion of Bucovina and the Romanian cultural heritage, tradition and values, not only with our British partners, but also with our Romanian nationals.

As actions speak louder than words, I presented to the esteemed British and Romanian audience the Consulate’s strategic initiative of the Community Hub launched in October 2025, along with a variety of events it has hosted in this sense, including several dedicated to Bucovina.

Where has this money comes from? And for what purpose? CertainlyJewish communites must be protected as should Muslim communities and indeed the Roma Communities (as we saw in Ballymena last year,,) . Could someone explain this please

I have seen firsthand the anxiety in our Jewish communities and the very real threat they face.

Their safety will be a priority for me - we must do more to stamp out the scourge of antisemitism and protect Jewish communities across the country.

This funding boost is a welcome and necessary step towards that.

On the Matt Chorley Show an hour ago I was asked whether, if England get there, Starmer should go to the final. No. I said, cos World Cup is corrupt, Trumpian, anti-Green & greedy. On reflection, I think Starmer should take his ticket(s) & give them to a regular, match-going England fan who can't afford a ticket for the final.

That way Starmer might win back some credibility on freebies, & also avoid sitting next to Andy Burnham for 2-3 hours.

I visited #Srebrenica with other MPs and this video is all the names and graves. I worked in Bosnia as an aid worker during the war and send love. 1/2
