@MandicReally@hueforge@CanuckCreator I had one and yes it overheated. In my case it was a blwn head gasket, though. I liked its utility, not its power train.
Today I am excited to release the 3MF Export Plugin for @hueforge. With the 3MF Export plugin you can export your HueForge projects right into the slicer and printer of choice, with the project setup with filament swaps or object colors already assigned ready to slice and print. Been playing with HueForge's Color Drop plugin creating single piece stained-glass models. There is no post-print assembly, but require an AMS or other handler. This one uses seven for purple irises. Downloadable at Makerworld and soon at printables: https://t.co/hMdlEuohNk
@GlobalTechFM@NeoKoi_Prints@hueforge Danny's term "fake" means the Mesh Core treats colors dragged from an image as if they were filaments. However, in the end it is necessary to approximate those colors on the Color Core to realize a print. Image colors enable better blending in the end.
Announcing the release of HueForge v0.9.3 and the brand new Color Drop Plugin! (For Windows/MacOS right now. Linux in the coming week)
The version has a ton of updates, you can read the notes here: https://t.co/F9LOKHYWdp
But some highlights.
1 - A proper Windows Installer but the zip file is still there if you prefer a portable version.
2 - SpotFix - the ability to adjust individual sections of the Mesh after creating your model with Color Pop or Color Match.
3 - Project Tree - the ability to make branching snapshot quicksaves and restore back to previous version easily with hotkeys or a UI for navigating the tree. Saves an hfpt file next to your project that gets loaded with it so you don't lose the history between saving and reloading.
4 - A LOT of bugfixes and stability Fixes.
And announcing the ColorDrop Plugin (https://t.co/wjMVAZqRMo) which keeps the texture of HueForge prints but nests to common colors so that the print is shorter, rings around parts of your model disappear and print time drops dramatically. Purge waste can be the same or higher for regular HueForge prints, but the total filament used is a lot less and for FlatForge prints that benefit, Color Drop is a huge time and filament saver with less waste. Also allowing much thinner FlatForge prints.
@hueforge@ChuckHellebuyck@digikey Mine was -40F (actually it's the same in centigrade) at closing time of the Library (bar) in Houghton, UP of Michigan in 1967 as an undergrad student at Michigan Tech.
The second of 2 HueForge Sales a year will start 12am Black Friday (GMT-5) and go until 11:59pm on Cyber Monday (November 28-Dec 1st).
All tiers of HueForge will be discounted automatically and upgrade coupons will still work. This is also the last weekend to get FlatForge for $15 before it goes up to the regular price of $20.
Did you know that TD1 and TD1s can connect to your phone and scan TD and color data directly into RFID spool tags(Requires Firmware v2.0.1 or newer)? This will be a nice feature as more and more filament manufacturers are moving to RFID tags. The app is 100% free. Check it out! https://t.co/8igxnFPCFr https://t.co/dDdTywzUqc Read more about what TigerTag is and how it works here. https://t.co/u2BHr5FIqm
@Cynical_L@hueforge@mikiglico The least expensive way to try your luck at commercial use is to be a https://t.co/PUnrQETdIx member of HueForge at USD15.99 a month (HueForge(Steve)’s Portfolio of 3D Models)
Thanks to @Polymaker_3D for inviting us to share HueForge at their FormNext booth.
And I can now share the chessboard I printed all at once for the show! Smooth and fully integrated with no glue or seams.
