This is not integrity; this is State-sanctioned persecution! It is a blatant defying of Supreme Court Orders. Mention be made that the long cherished many Homes of the #Kuki_Zos in Paite Veng, Imphal, are being recently burnt down under the nose #NBirenSingh's Government, whereas the undestroyed Houses are being shamelessly occupied by the radicalized #MeiteiMilitants, and the locality is renamed to the fantasy of the #Meiteis. Thousands of Protesters from the #Kuki_Zo Tribal Community in all Hill Areas of #Kuki_Zos participates in the 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 today organized by the Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum (ITLF) to expedite our long Constitutional Demand of Political Solution. It is to recalled that on May 3, 2023, every hard aspiration and long endeavor for #UnitedManipur had completely vanished in the air. Had the Union Theory been applied well, there would still be the possibility for all to live well together, and the wishes for United Manipur would still remain intact!!!

Inspite the deceitful schemes and promising lies of the Crime Minister #NBirenSingh to re-unite the two warring communities in order to persist his obsessed chair, the thought about reunion perse has totally become ridiculous and absurd now! Not only the thought, even the chances per-se of re-union has gone away completely! Besides, even if one wishes for reunion now, the road has been blocked completely by the irremovable landslide caused by Biren's patronized State Forces and his radicalized #ArambaiTenggol Militants and the #MeiteiTerrorists.

Hence, as the connecting road for reunification is totally and completely cut-off with no amount of human energy and labour available to restore it, the mandate is served to the Union @HMO_India to grant 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 to the #Kuki_Zo Tribals so as to acknowledge their constitutional rights for self governance under the ambit of the Union of India. The fact that only this acknowledgment will grant them freedom from further persecution and violence! The #Kuki_Zo Tribals have the constitutional provision to live as a separate entity from the majoritarian warmongering community of Kangleipak.

Besides, the hatred and animosity that still prevails between them and the warmongering #Meiteis is likely to not end even after a hundred generations! This reflects the urgency of securing Autonomous Governance from the condescending majoritarian Valley community. Mention be made here that the last Buffer Zone for the State was recently created in Jiribam which also demonstrates the already distinguish two Political Administrations within the State.

The ethnic cleansing against Kuki-Zo people, which started on May 3, 2023, and continues to this day, has clearly shown that the Manipur government has utterly failed to protect the rights, lives, and properties of the Kuki-Zo people. In fact, there is clear evidence that the state government has aided and abetted this genocide against Kuki-Zo people and hence has lost its authority to enforce its biased rules in the Kuki-Zo areas. The Kuki-Zo people of Chandel district, especially those residing in the foothills between Chandel and Kakching districts, have long lived harmoniously in an area that has been their home for generations, even before Manipur attained statehood in 1972. The Kuki-Zo inhabitants in the Chandel district side of the Sugnu foothills have always relied on two main bridges: the Napat bridge over the Gunpi (Imphal) river and the Serou bridge over the Chakpi river. However, the Napat bridge connecting Sugnu to Lamka was maliciously destroyed by Meiteis on May 28, 2023, further isolating the Kuki-Zo areas.

The geographical reality has left the Kuki-Zo areas of Chandel and Tengnoupal districts completely cut off from the valley and other Kuki-Zo dominated hill districts. This isolation has necessitated the construction of a bridge to connect these areas with Lamka, ensuring essential supplies. Recognising the dire need for connectivity, the Kuki-Zo public of Chandel district came together, pooling their limited resources to construct a bridge over the Gunpi River without any governmental or organisational assistance. They worked tirelessly with donations from Kuki-Zo people. This effort is justified under the Right to Life as guaranteed by the Constitution of India.

Today, May 25, 2024, Meitei militants in Manipur Police uniforms, accompanied by state-sponsored Meitei terrorists, attempted to violate Kuki-Zo areas and embarked on a mission to destroy the under-construction bridge. This blatant attempt to undermine the survival of the Kuki-Zo people is both unacceptable and unlawful. The Meitei Government, unable to tolerate the Kuki-Zo’s capability to construct such a vital bridge, views this project as a threat to their agenda of isolating and annihilating Kuki-Zo tribals in these regions.

The Kuki Inpi Chandel demands to know why the Central Security forces have allowed the state-sponsored Meitei terrorists in police uniforms to roam freely in Kuki-Zo areas while Kuki-Zo tribals are restricted and confined to their villages. This biased enforcement of law and order to crush the Kuki-Zo tribal minorities is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Kuki Inpi Chandel vehemently condemns this blatant attempt by radicalised Manipur Police along with Meitei insurgents and terrorists to intrude into Kuki-Zo territory on May 25, 2024, to destroy the Selloitha Bridge, which is currently under construction. The Kuki-Zo people warn that any further attempts to intrude into Kuki-Zo areas by Meiteis or anyone representing the Government of Manipur will be met with severe consequences. The Kuki-Zo tribals will not tolerate this infringement on their right to life by the biased Manipur government and will resist tooth and nail against any attempts to deny us our right to live and survival.

❗️All Reserved forest land falls under the jurisdiction of Autonomous District Councils, which oversee tribal lands and settlements based on the survival needs of hill tribes. N. Biren Singh's focus appears to be primarily on the interests of the Meetei community, comprising just 10% of Manipur's geographical area.

❗️N. Biren Singh's attention is solely directed towards the Meiteis, who occupy a mere 10% of Manipur's territory. He forcibly expelled the Kuki community from their settlements, labeling them as encroachers on Reserved Forest land, purportedly motivated by envy and hostility. Employing allegedly fraudulent documentation, he earmarked a substantial portion of Kuki settlements as Reserved Forest, contending that his own community has no entitlement to dwell in Manipur's hill districts.

❗️The Meiteis cannot claim ownership of all of Manipur's land, as the Meetei kingdom encompassed only 700 square miles. The remaining 700 square miles belong to tribal territories, governed by tribal Chiefs to this day.
