@Tigon_3rd@PopcornPost_ Thanks, although I doubt I'll see it unless it comes to 'normal' TV. Presumptuous, I know, to assume he won't be as good as Jeremy Brett without seeing it... but perfection is perfection 😁
A very simplified map of the main river catchment areas of Great Britain. It's extraordinary that rivers and streams as far south as Wolverhampton and even Solihull beyond Birmingham to as far north as the River Wiske just south of Darlington all ultimately feed the River Humber.
@RetroMoviesDB Before boxsets, or affordable boxsets anyway, you cramed as many episodes of a programme on a tape as you dared - pausing on advert breaks, starting as the voice of the announcer died away, cursing if they blathered about the next programme over the credits...
@TheMekon_Venus I'd go for the Hulk - somehow more iconic and a more typical comic character to have just as a head; Wolverine would just be some guy (Superman kindof is), Iron Man a robot face.
@SketchesbyBoze The Jodie Whittaker Doctor Who run suffered from what were obviously young writers being tasked with writing 'sci-fi' simply watching some well known sci-fi films and programmes and doing message-laden versions, rather than reading anything and everything else & getting inspired.
Around the June solstice, London and Rio de Janeiro enjoy almost the same sunset time. That feels wrong at first. After all, the two cities sit more than 40 degrees of longitude apart. But the calendar fixes the puzzle. London is near its longest day of the year, while Rio is near its shortest. Geography is weird but the source of great trivia. Source: https://t.co/p69LD5Xzp0
