@Sassafrass_84 It’s very common for the jury to receive instructions on lesser included offenses. Often the defense argues for that as much as the prosecution. Both sides want to make allowances for jury sympathy or evidence that didn’t come across how the lawyers intended.

@TravelsCali @ImMeme0 The base tax rate is about 1%, but cities, counties, school districts, gov utilities, special districts (fire, CSD’s, etc) also tack on extra property tax.

22k on that house value makes a lot of sense.
