वन्देमातरम् भारत की अस्मिता का उद्घोष है ।यह भारत का राष्ट्रगीत है । इसका विरोध कुछ लोग जिस पाक कलमा के आधार पर कर रहे हैं, वह निराधार है। पाक कलमा नीचे उद्धृत हैः
‘ला इलाह इल अल्लाह,
मुहम्मदुर रसूल अल्लाह ।’
मुल्ला-मौलवी इसका अर्थ करते हैं-‘खुदा के सिवा कोई अन्य पूजनीय नहीं है। हजरत मुहम्मद अल्लाह के रसूल अर्थात् पैगंबर हैं।’
जबकि गिरडीह के सूफी बाबा शाह कलंदर और अन्य सूफी संत इसका अर्थ बताते हैं-‘ नहीं है प्राणी परमात्मा से भिन्न। हजरत मुहम्मद अल्लाह के आइना हैं अर्थात् उनमें अल्लाह की छवि देखी जा सकती है।’
हजरत मुहम्मद साहब अन्यत्र कहते हैं-‘ज़र्रे जर्रे में ख़ुदा है।’
मुल्ला-मौलवियों का तर्क यदि थोड़ी देर के लिये सही भी मान लिया जाए कि अल्लाह के सिवा कोई पूजनीय नहीं है, तो परमात्मा सर्वव्यापी कैसे है?
इस्लाम के 5 अरकानों (स्तंभों) में पहला है तौहीद अर्थात् परमात्मा अद्वैत है, सर्व व्यापी है।इस आधार पर हर व्यक्ति, जीव, यहाँ तक कि पत्थर में भी खुदा को उपस्थित जानकर सज्दा किया जा सकता है।
एक सूफी शायर कहता है-‘मैंने तो अपनी मौज में अपना सर झुका दिया, अब खुदा मालूम, वह काबा था या बुतख़ाना था ‘
फिर काशी या काबा, पीर या भारत माता की वंदना करने में क्या हर्ज है?
