When a DUDE gets wealthy, everyone eats:

-5th Mistress + Dozen Escorts on payroll
When a GIRL gets wealthy, she hordes it and looks for another dude richer than her
Elliot Anderson - Decision Making Analysis
-The third best 'decision maker' among CM/DMs in the PL.
-Very well rounded profile, great at progression via passing as well as carrying. Creates shots, takes a good number of them himself as well and gets the ball into the box.
-Pretty good at picking out 'good' passes that allow the receiver into space and also, time.
-Press resistant but has a lower carry IQ, which suggests that his backward carries don't lead to progression over the next passage of play.
-Makes a decent number of 'risky' passes which lead to the loss of possession by the team. This is also partly down to his role and team quality.
So funny seeing City fans freak out about the Anderson bid. They want us to cheap out and sign worse players so the net spend can look good on Sky Sport graphs
When you miss out on Rice and Joao Neves, you need to bite the bullet and pay over the odds to address an issue rather than keep delaying it.
The fact is; Rodri needs a CM next to him who runs, covers space out of possession and works all phases in possession (generalist).
@LNobbins Weโve spent almost 200 million because we keep going for backup options in midfield. Pay up and you get a guy who can be a starter for 5+ years.
Anderson may not be โworthโ ยฃ120m as a player but thatโs largely irrelevant.
The real question is whether heโs worth that much to City, given the context of past failed transfers and the context of our squad as a whole.
Iโd say the answer is yes, and I imagine City will pay up.
