@Jen_Vaughan@MichaelDell@jrd02666 Schools will need to offer a one semester course in personal finance by the 2027-28 school year (75% do not today) and class of 2031 will be the first guaranteed to graduate having taken the course. Wish it was sooner!
@AmairaWilliam@MichaelDell The team @NextGenPF believes it is impossible. Our advocacy work has added 21 states in just the past four years. It's hard work but well worth it!
@sheila_tubbs@MichaelDell@GovBraun Good news! It is a requirement in #indiana. Here's the complete list created by @nextgenPF which works with over 130,000 teachers by providing curriculum and professional development to ensure the class is high quality! https://t.co/7Y0NPA8yIb
@Jen_Vaughan@MichaelDell@jrd02666 Fortunately, California passed the law last year to make #personalfinance a graduation requirement. We led a ballot initiative that had 80% approval leading to the legislature passing this law for a standalone, one semester course in personal finance.
@MichaelDell Thanks to @MichaelDell for investing in nation's future through your $6.25 billion donation so young people can start on the road to financial freedom. Since @NextGenPF committed #Mission2030, our team has fought in these 21 states to get laws passed to guarantee this course!

We just announced that the California Personal Finance Initiative has submitted over 880,000 signatures to qualify for the November ballot. This is the year we guarantee every California high school student a standalone personal finance course!
@ramit@Investmentkage Would add "psychology of money" to your list as we need to understand the reasons behind the decisions we make about money. It's the "personal" in personal finance. It's first unit in @NextGenPF course.
Excited about the opportunity for every California high schooler to graduate with the financial know-how to thrive in the future. #Mission2030 https://t.co/xTcxjLMX3h
Thanks @FrugalConfess for featuring @NextGenPF Arcade games in your article highlighting HS @FinLit games, including Shady Sam, Payback, Money Magic, Spent, STAX (#1), Uber Game (an @FT production). More than 13 million game play in last school year! https://t.co/Z8NLnBsVCr
