Centring care, trust and wellbeing , The Giving Lab was always more than a funding model: By offering bespoke support, adapting to community needs, and taking a relational approach, this innovative funding model shows us what's possible if we put communities in the lead.

From its inception in 2018, the co-designed programme underwent big changes, but we continued to be shaped by the community to ensure the model fitted their needs. TGL championed democratic decision-making and equipped communities with the tools they need to solve local issues.
