With some further processing we can just make out the 5th largest moon - Miranda.

Locking onto the movement of the planet we are able to see the orbit of the moons.
Uranus is unique amongst the planets in that its moons orbit, along with its own rotation, are almost at 90 degrees to the orbit around the sun.

Last night Uranus reached opposition. We tracked it over 4 hours to make this video showing the movement of the planet and its four brightest moons (Titania, Oberon, Umbriel and Ariel) against the stars.

@johnnypgreco @DanieliShany This looks like a fantastic project! It looks like my final pipe dream of someone simulating a galaxy stellar population with embedded Planetary Nebulae ;)
