@ReubenR80027912 I’m a cilantro enjoyer and I 100% think it tastes like soap. I kinda forced myself to start liking it because everyone else I knew did. I ask for extra now, but it still tastes like soap to me. I also have no desire to eat actual soap.
These necks are much thinner than previous models…. Future playable race? I wouldn’t mind if Blizz just made helms unusable. Not like mechagnomes wear pants.
Honestly not sure this is a move to appeal to younger players either. A lot of the writing currently feels like self inserts, but not in a cool way. It’s a “My parents don’t understand” kind of way. Just give us cool characters doing morally grey things… and maybe don’t immediately turn them into the raid boss of the second season?
Blizzard wants to appeal to younger players, I get it. They want the game to last and bring in younger generations. They’re focusing on more cozy vibes, the writing is friendly and safe. Family and friendship overcome evil. But you know what? It’s terrible and genuinely sucks.
I often wonder if these guys actually enjoy playing the game? It’s infinitely scaling content, so the experience would be the same regardless of if they’re geared enough for a 24 or a 23. Assuming they’re always pushing at the highest point they are capable of. Unless it’s just about a title?
The only way to get the best gear for keys is by killing last 2 bosses on mythic. You literally can not do high keys unless you are farming last 2 bosses in raid and being fed gear.
Last 2 bosses for most specs have anywhere from 5-7 item slots. Thats 5-7 items that are 9 (?) ilvl higher than anything els you can acquire in game.
That is so much power. Literally no point in trying to do keys unless youre a HOF raider. If this change goes live like this and you enjoy wow for high keys and do not enjoy raiding. Just save your time and energy and go do something better with your time go play another game there is no reason to play the game.
@christehkiller@NotAmberBerries I think the question is why or for what. Power is simply a tool. What does she want that power for? It’s not an endgame. that’s why she feels lacking so far
Players wanting perfect balance ruins legendaries and I don’t think Blizzard has a solution yet to make them cool. The legendary axe from DF is a great example. Rather than making you epic, you were simply lesser until you had it. Since it had to be balanced around assuming every player would get it.
@NotAmberBerries If he had a magic floating chair that he hovered around in, no one would bat an eye. It just feels like of all the possible ways they could have navigated this story, a wheelchair made of arcane energy seems the most forced. A normal wheelchair would have been better tbh.
I’ve been questioning lately if endgame zones are bad for the story. As soon as the next major patch hits, we’re off to a new zone and the story is dropped here. I often wonder if we need to let things marinate in the zones we have rather than adding more for every .1 or .2 patch.
I really hope Blizzard's takeaway from the player reception to Midnight's story isn't, "Players don't want remakes of existing zones".
Many of us WANT to see our favorite zones brought back to life, but the story needs to SLOW DOWN and focus on the zones and cultures.
@maximum Overall I’ve heard very positive things from my community. Plus the 3 raids allow blizzard to tell more stories and vary the raid art designs within one tier.
@RollieRodz So far the story in midnight is supposed to have been wildly fast. Like maybe a day. (Doesn’t make sense how we explored Harandar and Zulaman in a day but whatever). So most likely it’s been a non-issue for the alliance.
Harandar was definitely originally planned to be in TWW. They were an obvious allied race (normally come in multiples), underground zone, story led in that zone). I suspect the Black Blood was traded in for Lightbloom.
Regardless, the cradle is definitely a tie into The Last Titan and will have future significance. Unless it just becomes like the crystal in Hallowfall and dissapears…
Looking back at the TWW launch cinematic too, Orweyna's segment is very clearly in Harandar, but the lighting looks nothing like how it does in Midnight.
I do wonder if they intended it to be like this at some point in development, and I wonder why it changed so much.
