2.5 ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದರೂ ಖಾಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡದೆ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ, ಕಮಿಷನ್‌ ದಂಧೆ, ಕುರ್ಚಿ ಕಲಹ, ಬ್ರೇಕ್‌ ಫಾಸ್ಟ್‌ ಮೀಟಿಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಹಗಲು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಷ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟು ಓದಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಯಸ್ಸು ಸಹ ಮೀರುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜೊತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

I strongly condemn the illegal detention of students/examinees who were protesting against the state government's procrastination to fill up various vacancies, corruption in KPSC, age bar relaxation, and various other legitimate demands in Dharwad

The examinees have worked hard to fulfill their aspirations of getting a government job; however, the government's inaction, procrastination, and internal squabbles have resulted in severe delays in conducting exams and declaring results. The examinees now risk the fear of an age bar due to the government's inaction in conducting examinations on time.

There has been no clear consensus from the senior ministers, who had said that age relaxation and declaration of results will be done in a time-bound manner. The Government is resorting to 'Police Raj' to curtail the democratic voice of the examinees. The examinees and aspirants of competitive exams have all rights to protest against the injustice.

The police or the district administration should not stifle their voices by arresting them. The protestors must be released immediately, and their legitimate demands must be fulfilled within a time frame fixed by the government.

Shocking that young competitive aspirants in Dharwad were arrested today for merely sitting in peaceful protest demanding timely recruitments. This crisis stems entirely from the government’s own failures of delayed notifications, withheld exams, and unresolved internal reservation issues that have stalled every process. Karnataka’s youth are paying the price for this negligence. The Government of Karnataka must act immediately, or it will soon face students taking to the streets in larger numbers, with this movement only growing stronger.
