Caleb Williams in his rookie year was called a bust cause he held onto the ball too long

According to PFF he had the most sacks allowed by him (no blame on blockers), was 4th in the league in time to throw, had the highest pressure to sack % and crazy enough his line was 8th in pass blocking grade (idk about that but not dead last like Green Bay rn)

@jdrealmuto @goudakunst I’m just saying why mahomes has such a low pocket percentage, Love has been pretty bad for his standards but mahomes having a low pocket time percentage doesn’t mean he’s better than everyone else he’s just dinking and dumping more (which is fine they’re undefeated)

This argument doesn’t really make sense if you take more than 1 minute to look a little deeper

Love has higher air yards/attempt than everyone with “less pocket time” except stafford. Jordan Love also has by far the highest pressure rate and blitz rate compared to anyone near him on that list.

Teams know his offensive line sucks ass and LaFleur will stay hell bent on stretching the field, which is fine if you have even at top 25 pass blocking unit (which they do not)
